Mohamed wore a military uniform as he declared the new offensive and offered young fighters a chance to surrender.
"We tell the young, brainwashed al-Shabab fighters us," he said.
"We shall welcome them with open arms." he said al-Shabab terror group has since reject his rule and has ask the Somalia people not to support him. 
Somalia has been on the international front on major global issues of late, including Donald Trump administration's approval on greater US military authority to pursue al-Shabab in Somalia, including aggressive air strikes on militant targets.
