PDP Reps member from Benue defect to APC

ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS APC RECORDS ANOTHER MEMBER, The House of Representative members representing Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu federal constituency at the National Assembly, Hon Hassan Anthony Saleh, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, citing leadership and fictional division within the party. His defection was announced by the Honorable speaker Yakubu Dogara on the floor of the house, before commencement of proceeding.
A fellow house member Hon, Nicholas of PDP from Delta raised a point of order, urging the speaker to declare Mr. Hassan’s seat vacant, referring to an Appeal court ruling that put Sen Alimodu Sherrif as the chairman / leader of the PDP,
But he was ruled out of order by the Speaker.
The defection of Hon Saleh has increased the number of APC representatives to 226 and that of PDP to 124.
It can be recall that the Supreme Court on 10th of march, delivered a resounding judgment in favor of Hon Hassan in the prolong electoral /legal dispute between him and Christian Adabah Abah of the PDP. Since his electoral victory, they have been speculation about his possible defection to the APC, which has just been confirmed.
