SOUTH SUDAN TO PARTNER WITH UNICEF TO PREVENT THE USE OF CHILDREN AS CHILD SOLDIER

Good News!
The Government of South Sudan has signed a re-commitment to work with the United Nations to fully implement the Action Plan of 2012 that aims to end and prevent the recruitment and use of children by the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA). South Sudan is one of the eight countries involved in the campaign ‪#‎Childrennotsoldiers‬, launched in March 2014 by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for children and armed conflict and UNICEF.
